This book presents, backup, interprets, develops and discover more than one hundred major and significant objects of cultural and artistic heritage of Bandjoun, a leading art centers and artistic tradition of the Cameroon Grassland whose international fame in the fields of aesthetics and art in Africa is well established. What impresses visitors to the kingdom, that are in addition to dances, ceremonies and landscapes, architectural elements to rich decor, superb thrones, magnificent masks, beadwork, fabrics with enigmatic motifs and various objects cultural expressions that are sometimes life cycle. Through these works of talented artists have one hand, celebrated the splendor of the court of kings Bandjoun, size and power of these monarchs, their collaborators and secret societies and, secondly, of materialized universal themes such as death, life, love, victory, defeat, power, prestige and the occult force. Typical examples of these productions are now on display at the museum, allowing the latter to fulfill its basic functions. These creations of unquestionable authenticity, often presents great workmanship. Fortunately most of the heritage of Bandjoun was preserved, especially since the museum set up by the WCC and its collection survived completely intact, for the pleasure of visitors and to safeguard the culture of Bandjoun.
