Description
Rather than a story that too many assumptions Shortcomings, this book is an overview of the many aspects that plastic creation assumes among black African peoples. Not only the perpetrators were determined to show the richness, barely measured today of African sculpture and the high value of this contribution to the universal heritage, but they held not to neglect the arts – architecture, painting, adornment among others – less often studied despite certain. The major goal was to do justice to the unknown, paradoxically, Africans remain as artists, they whose works – they are also popular – are still commonly viewed less as “works” in the strict sense, that like almost mechanical products of community life.
