This book, backup, interprets and promotes a significant group of about one hundred and fifty major major objects of cultural and artistic heritage of the kingdom of Baham. It proposes to give some visual reading keys and plural examples of works that are both cultural and historical witnesses, the ultimate message of men of the past and today, setting the collective memory and Family the group but also memories of the past, for adapting to the present and the future. It unveils the rich, uses, meanings of these productions which will combine aesthetic, power, history, religion, mystery and myth. Faced with contemporary transformations Baham, with the development of an urban center expanding, building modern infrastructure, the development of tourism and handicrafts, the establishment of a dynamic living museum and was required to preserving and enhancing the cultural and local artistic heritage, to ensure, among other cultural continuity smoothly allowing the individual to live in harmony with their environment. Apart from a few pieces recently acquired by kings and notables of the post-colonial period to expand or rebuild their treasures include authenticated specimens, often of great value, almost miraculously escaped the traffickers of African art and more particularly looting and destruction in the twentieth century, a large part of Baham artistic heritage.
